MAG WASP at the “Give Emotions” Party

On September 8, the UNIT.City Innovation Park in Kyiv brought together leaders of the Ukrainian event industry at the “Give Emotions” party. During the evening, guests discussed market opportunities in an informal setting, presented their developments, and shared plans for the future. After the presentations, guests were treated to an incendiary show featuring Michelle Andrade, Lida Le,e and MONATIK.

The stage was set up along the wide side of an open parking lot measuring 100 by 50 meters. This area is enough to hold a concert for 10,000 people, so it requires a distributed sound system to evenly cover all zones.

Dmitry Starikov, head of the sound department at PROFI – equipment for events, comments:

“We like that MAG WASP is so versatile: we used it for FOH and out-fills, on stage as a side- and front-fills. In total, we installed 76 x WASP. They were supplemented with subwoofers – 12 x WASP-S18 for FOH and 6 x WASP-S12 as side-fills. As the main subwoofers, we installed 12 x MAG Sub H28. Finally, for monitoring, we chose 2 x MAG Focus 5 and a separate monitor stack for the drummer – Focus Sub + Focus 5.

To amplify the entire system, we used two MAG AmpRack 2×8 and one AmpRack 1×8. The entire system was connected via DANTE.”
