“Molodist” – 50! with the support of MAG Audio

Anniversary Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival with the support of MAG Audio. The Kyiv International Film Festival “Molodist” has turned 50. Over its significant history, it has become a significant international film event with its own traditions, philosophy, and aesthetics.

On May 29, a grand opening ceremony was held on the square near the Arch of Friendship of Peoples. Ukrainian film and television stars, directors, producers, and other notable figures of Ukrainian cultural and social life happily posed on the “anniversary” red carpet. The festive atmosphere was greatly enhanced by the joy of simple live communication in the scenery of blooming spring Kyiv.

The grand event took place with the technical support of MAG Audio. The sound system is based on a universal MAG WASP line array (10 per side), combined with MAG WASP-S18 subwoofers (3 per side) and Sub H28 floor-standing speakers (2 per side). The setup is completed by 4 MAG WASP as front fills, 2 Focus 5 monitors, and 2 universal STING point-source systems for sound reinforcement under the tent.

Such a system is a universal solution for both live performances and film screenings: on the opening day, Alina Pash and the G-ART band performed on stage, and the evening ended with a screening of the film “Babylon XX”.

The fantastic location of “Molodist” near the Arch of Friendship of Peoples, although due to quarantine, only added a unique charm to the event. Film screenings within the festival will last until June 6.
